MASSBAD HS TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE: WESTBOROUGH HS SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDS CHAMPIONSHIP

Westborough High School won the Championship and Lexington was the runner up on the Mar 3 tournament.  For Division 2, Acton-Boxborough was the Champion, while Mac Duffie School was in 2nd Place.

8 HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS TO FACE OFF ON SUNDAY, MAR 3

COURTS ARE MOSTLY NOT AVAILABLE.  THE MEET UP GROUP AND TRAINING WILL GO ON AS USUAL. 
Draws, schedule and team rosters can be viewed in tournamentsoftware.  The 2019 Massbad Team Badminton Championships will have Division 1 and 2.  Divisions are based on 2018 results.  Defending Champion Westborough, finalist Lexington, Shrewsbury/Algonquin and Newton North High School belong to Dlivision 1.  Division 2 teams include MacDuffie, Newton South, Sharon and Acton-Boxborough.

FEB VACATION BADMINTON TRAINING

AC Academy runs a  3 day junior competitive badminton camp Feb 20-22.
Coach Chongtian Qiu has a 5 day (Feb 18-22) training camp for those preparing for competition.

Club players are urged to check court schedule for NEMA tournament court reservation.  Four courts are booked 1-4 pm on Sat Jan 19,26 and Feb 2.
