Umpire Training on Sat Jan 21

Support Massachusetts badminton by serving as umpire.  MassBad President Beth Sopka will conduct an Umpire Training Course on Sat, Jan 21, 1:30- 4 pm at Boston Badminton.  Trainees can do their practical umpire test during the Connecticut Open on Jan 27-29.
We need as many volunteers as possible to serve as umpires during our next national event: the 2012 Junior International Trials on Apr 6-8.  The competitive will run up to 14 hours  each day,  with all matches umpired.  The big bonus for umpires is that they get the best seat to watch top US juniors compete.
